Bird and Fish packaging These beautifully sculptural bath toys were designed in 1969 by Patrick Rylands. Patrick, as regular readers may know, designed PlayPlax which we helped re-launch at the end of last year and Joupii which we’ve just repackaged for Il Leccio toys. Bird and Fish are the first two products to be relaunched by Selegiochi toys under the MasterToys brand and are included in many permanent museum collections including the V&A Museum, London. Bird is to be used as the cover image for the catalogue of Award-winning British Design: 1957-1988  by Lily Crowther which will be published by the V&A in March 2012, (you can pre-order copies here…).
