Royal Mail Musicals stamps

Queen members Roger Taylor and Brian May launch our new set of stamps celebrating seven decades of UK stage musicals at the Dominion Theatre, London

.

The stamps feature eight musicals including the Queen’s We Will Rock You, Oliver!, Blood Brothers, Monty Python’s Spamalot, The Rocky Horror Show, Me and My Girl, Return to the Forbidden Planet and Billy Elliot.

Taylor and May said: “We’re thrilled that We Will Rock You has been immortalised on a Royal Mail stamp.”

Blood Brothers’ creator Willy Russell said he was “really chuffed” with the accolade. “I feel enormously flattered really, out of all proportion… the stamps are gorgeous. I’ll be sending a couple I’m sure.”

We also designed the accompanying product packaging including First Day Cover and presentation pack.
